Where are the Guardian Lion statues

Rockstar's GTA: Chinatown Wars is a feat of compression. A huge game-play experience has been brought down to a hand held console that usually pushes out graphics that we saw a decade ago. However, the interface to this game still has its faults, especially in the secret bonus missions. It is so complicated to unlock them that I wrote out this FAQ and provided a map to guide you to the Guardian Lion statues.

1) Beat the game.
2) Visit Rockstar Games Social Club, click Games and select GTA Chinatown Wars.
3) Link your account by creating a new login ID.
4) Sync your stats from the DS by going to a safe house and logging in to the laptop that is on the desk.
5) From the Chinatown Wars page, click the link for "Have you found them yet? Guardian Lions." On the new page click the obnoxiously large flash animation.
6) Sync your DS again. If everything was done right you will get an email in the DS game that tells you to find the lions.
7) Find the lions by going to all of the swirling blue spots scattered around the city. The lion's placement is random so you will have to check them all. It will take you about 30 minutes to swing by all the spots. Here is a map of the spot locations:

8) When you get both lions, go back to the safe house and sync with the stats again.
9) Visit Rockstar Games Social Club, again and on the GTA Chinatown Wars page the obnoxiously large Guardian Lions flash animation has changed to show the lions and say "congratulations"
10) Go back to the safe house and sync one again.
11) You should now get an email from Xin telling you to meet him. Go there now and start the missions.
Note: if you are having problems getting the email, sync your game one last time, save, and power off the DS. Go to the Guardian Lions Page, wait for the obnoxiously large Flash animation to load, and click "check progress again." Power on your DS again, and the email should arrive.
