There are three distinct yellow plate sessions you must go through before reaching the end boss. This area really funnels you right to the boss. Many
game critics have been openly whiny about having to go to an area to fight a boss and then go back through the same area to collect the light seeds. They term this "backtracking." But, when you first go through an area to a boss, you can't explore it. Like this area, it is a single track to the fertile ground. Then, after you defeat the beast, the area opens up and you can really explore it. Its not backtracking if you never had the chance to look around in the first place.

The Hunter:

Attack the guy and be ready with the block button. His attacks come in fast.
Be ready for a more intense use of quick button presses that appear on screen.
If the hunter is black in color, use Elika to flash him with her magic.
If the hunter is turquoise in color, do not use Elika as he will toss her aside and you will have to shimmy over to get her.
If the hunter has a small black wave behind him, use the gauntlet.
For all the other forms, open the attack with Elika, she is fast and has a longer reach. After Elika's initial attack, chain a gauntlet throw, to really start a good combo.
