Gears of War 2 Plot Recap
This is a tiny recap of everything that you may have missed in Gears of War 2. Be careful because this will spoil the entire game for you. But, if you have already played this game or you are just curious about what this game is all about, please read on.
The Plot
The army of subterranean dwelling foes known as the Locust or "Grubs" have completely dominated the surface of Sera and pushed the remaining humans to the city of Jacinto. As a last-ditch effort, the humans send a team of commandos into the heart of the Locust capitol to try and decapitate the leadership structure. The team battles a giant worm, a giant fish, and a giant, flying locust-controlled-Guantanamo-Bay know as a "torture barge." Also, one of the commandos, Dom, journeys to the edges of the inside of the earth to find his captured wife.
The Spoiler
Dom finds his wife in a Locust work camp but she has been so horribly tortured that she doesn't even recognize him. Dom mercy-kills her.
The Ending
Sargent Marcus Fenix rides a Locust Dinosaur through the caverns that are under Jacinto to collapse the city's foundations and flood the Locust's underground capitol.
