Colossus 12
Dolomite talks to me once again to say "A moving bridge to reach a higher ground." I so hope this boss is Stevie Wonder (who is THE colossus of funk). At least it will be easier to run around him then.
Super sword points me north but don't listen to it now. You really want to go to the bride at G4, then go to the bridge at G3. Head into the dark forest, but stay close to the right-hand wall and exit at the next opening. Follow the mountain path that leads along the cliff face.
Notice the large waterfall, there is a small mountain path here heading north.
Jump and grab on to the circular pillar and shimmy almost 360 degrees around to the ledge on the other side. Do not attempt to jump across the waterfall as you will die and have to find this place all over again. I fell into the water and almost threw my dual shock controller through my TV.
When you make it around the little dam, jump into the lake when you reach the end of the path. Swim past the large bridge to the little pagodas.
Cinematic: The beast rises and looks like....an NFL linebacker.
He shoots lasers too. I hate that. I think the game designers added lasers when they realized the colossus wouldn't be that hard.
Life lesson for all you reading: adding lasers to anything makes it harder.
By the way, the music sounds like the music from the Goonies when Mikey first discovers the treasure map in his dad's attack.

Kill Colossus #12:
Dive under the water with R1 and while submerged, swim around to his back.
Climb up it and onto his head.
Strike the molars located on his head to steer him towards one of the stone temples. When close enough, jump off and hide from the lasers behind that giant stone nipple in the middle.
He will get frustrated and put his hooves onto the temple roof. When he does, jump towards his stomach. Plunge your sword into the spot on his stomach.
After stabbing him about 4 times he will shake you off. You will have to climb back on and steer him over to a different temple again because:
1 - The designers want to pad out the game and...
2 - He destroys the temple you were using before.
-------------------------------------------
Cinematic - Him: sinking into the ocean. Me: still holding on as he goes under.
God that last one put me in a bad mood. I suggest taking a break before playing the next Colossus because he is actually pretty cool.
